Top five icon selection

"What better than a cup of tea in a rainy afternoon while watching an episode of Doctor Who?" This is a thought probably shared by many Britons who might also be fans of Monty Python and have a good English sense of humor themselves. They all must have visited Stonehenge at least one in their life, no doubt.

Although there are so many others, according to their own listings, this is definitely my top five British icon selection. What about yours?

  1. When we think about England, we all have thoughts that come to our minds without even noticing. For me, they are: The cup of tea, the queen of England, the Notting Hill’s doors, the carpets, the pubs, the bad weather, and so on. I think they represent all the images that come to our minds when we think of England.

Despite this, I have found in that list more icons that I hadn’t thought about. Some of them are: James Bond, Pride And Prejudice, Sherlock Holmes, the Damien Hirst's Shark or the cricket!

It has been very interesting to learn more about the country’s icons and reading what English people think about them.
